Hey everyone!  How are y’all doing today?  Is it just me, or does this year just keep flying by?  I swear, it just felt like the beginning of August now we are getting close to the end.  Damn.  Anyway, on to what today’s post is all about, Makeup Inventory Part 3!  If you haven’t check out Part 1 and Part 2, they are linked for you!  Today I’m sharing my current powders, blushes, bronzers, and contours.  Let me know if this little series on my blog has helped you go through your current collection because I would love to know your totals as well!  Also, quick question.  Do you prefer an image for each individual item or is a group image at the beginning of the group okay?  Let me know in the comments what you prefer!  Well, enough blabber eh, let’s get onto the makeup!

1. L.A. Girl Just Blushing Blush in Just Playful ($5.99 US)

I’ve actually pulled this blush out of my collection to start using this month.  I originally picked up the shade Just Because (mentioned below) because of Taylor.  I saw this color and thought it would be a nice color.  I actually really enjoy the shade, blends well onto my skin, but unfortunately doesn’t last long on my skin.

2. Wet N Wild ColorIcon Blush in Mellow Wine ($2.99 US)

This is the only blush I have ever used up entirely and then repurchased.  The shade is more peach than the original, but I still really enjoy this blush.  You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on a beautiful blush.  It also lasts very well on my skin.

Bronzers & Contours

1. L.A. Girl Just Blushing Blush in Just Because ($5.99 US)

As mentioned above, this was a product recommendation from Taylor as a great contour shade, even though it is marketed as a blush.  For me, it works wonderfully as a contour and it is the only single contour product I have in my collection.

2. No7 Match Made Bronzer in Golden Sand ($12.99 US)

I actually received this in a giveaway from Miss Jessica Harlow on YouTube.  I actually really enjoy the formula but the shade is too warm for my fair skin.  It is currently in my 13 By Halloween Project Pan.  Whenever I do use it up, however, I will not be repurchasing because No7 is not a cruelty-free brand.

3. Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Bronzer ($14.99 US)

The Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer, an absolute cult favorite, and for good reason!  It is so beautiful on the skin, blends like a dream and smells heavenly.  If you are looking for a good bronzer and haven’t tried this one, I highly recommend.  I do know they have added more shades to the line, but I am not sure how well the deepest shade works for deeper skin tones.

1. Besame Cosmetics Brightening Vanilla Powder in Translucent ($22 US)
Regular Link
This was a product recommendation from Emily Noel on YouTube.  I haven’t used it in a long time, so I don’t remember how I liked it.  Currently, I am trying to use up my non-cruelty-free ones up before reaching for this one.  I’m sure you will see it in an upcoming project or a makeup basket eventually.

2. Catrice Cosmetics Highlighting Powder in 020 Champagne Campaign ($5.99 US)

Now, I know you may be thinking or wondering, why on earth is a highlighting powder in the powder section?  Well, this was a recommendation from Jessica on YouTube and when swatching it, it looked way to light to be a highlight.  Then I thought how much it reminded me of my Milani Prep + Set + Glow powder and I’m genuinely curious if it will work out the same.  I haven’t tried it out yet, but once I do, I will definitely keep you updated!

3. Maybelline Fit Me! Loose Finishing Powder in 05 Fair ($7.99 US)

Yet another non-cruelty-free item, but if you have checked out some of my previous posts, this was a recommendation from Taylor (yes, again lol).  I picked it up before I decided to work towards a cruelty-free collection.  It is quite a nice powder, sets my face very well, although it is a little light for me.  I’ve been using it on top of darker foundations to help lighten it a bit.  I also realized I am not a fan of loose powders.  So once this is gone, I am going to be thrilled.

4. Milani Prep + Set + Glow Illuminating Transparent Powder ($9.99 US)

Ah, my holy grail powder (link here for that post).  I absolutely adore this powder and another recommendation from Emily Noel on YouTube.  Are we sensing a theme with all the product recommendations?  Haha.  This is beautiful on my skin, helps set my makeup without mattifying my skin.  I just love it!

5. Wet N Wild PhotoFocus Pressed Powder in Warm Light ($4.99 US)

This is also another product in my current 13 by Halloween Project Pan.  Personally, I am not a fan of this powder.  It is okay, but it doesn’t take away the tackiness from my foundations.  It definitely helps the skin appear more matte, but when I touch my face it is still tacky.  I cannot use this powder if I am heading off to work, because hair sticks to my face.  Once I use this product up, I will not be repurchasing.

So that does it for Part 3 of my Makeup Inventory.  Like I said earlier, I would love to know the numbers in your collection!  How many bronzers, blushes, contours, and setting powders do you have?  Are you trying to lower your collection?  I feel for the most part, I need maybe 2 blushes, 2 setting powders, 1 bronzer, and 1 contour and my I’m set.  Clearly, I’m not fully at those numbers yet, but I’m pretty damn close!  Well, I thank you for stopping by and until next time!

    1. The thing is, it use to be more mauve/rose toned, then they reformulated it, still amazing price point but they changed it to more of a peach blush and like you said, it is funny!! I would never think of a peach/orange blush to be called Mellow Wine!!! Hahaha Thank you so much for reading!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤

      1. Ooo that makes sense! Well I’m not sure if it’s a good thing that they reformulated, since I’m sure there are fans of the old formula out there, but I am so in love with the new formula and color. Never seen such a perfect orange blusher shade and for such an affordable price!😍😍😍
